10\10 for dining at Jacques’ Table! The food was amazing as was the company. As if a 5 course Christmas feast wasn’t enough to prepare, Jacques had a surprise beetroot and orange sorbet which was tasty and refreshed the palate, the Dover Sole was simply stunning along with Capon for main which was so moist, the Christmas Pudding ice cream was fabulous. Triumph for the chef! Sylvia has hostess and front of house down to a fine art, her attention to detail is exemplary. Overall lovely predinner drinks along with a lovely ambience with excellent service and amazing food. Great experience! Had a lovely time! Highly recommend! Alex, Ayrshire

The hors d’oeuvres were tantalising, the mise en bouche exotic, the starter splendid and the main course delicious but the real punishment was the dessert! Why oh why would you leave the sublime best for last??? A chocolate soufflé of such divinity it made one weep. And not just that, ginger ice cream with an aroma to die for. How, after such a feast, were we supposed to fit it in? Cruelty, that’s what I call it. French cruelty. And no, it didn’t end there: truffles.
